Spring/summer 2014 was the year when everybody was looking to Africa for inspiration and rich
color stories were the key for the season. I was fascinated by the new ethnic and it’s strong print and pattern story . It was seen across the globe and still is.
It was then when I bought
this jumpsuit from FOREVER 21 ,but there was no suitable occasion or
place to wear it and it got lost
somewhere in my Narnian Wardrobe . Lately I found this piece back and I thought
it would be perfect to do some layering and feature it in my street style column
because " going out of style is just not our style " .It is an off-shoulder jumpsuit
which has got this amazing tribal-ethnic print all over it . I wore it with a
double pockets arctic blue shirt and a good pair of wedges on a bright sunny Delhi
day. I strutted around the streets ,like a boss in my perfect attire and trust
me the feeling was no less than a runway !
Street style, which is considered not to have emerged from
the studios but from the grassroots has become a thing. So layer it up, play
around and make it your own.
