DENIM DUDE :the BF jeans story

Fair warning: This is a lengthy read. Best accompanied by coffee, tea and/or chocolate

After a long wait and a lot of homework, we are up with the hottest summer trend. We played a little spy on all the stylish people and the “ladies in the city” show us how it’s done.

Pretty sure everyone has that dilemma with trying to put tights, pants or skinny jeans on, when it's so crazy-hot outside . Let’s face it skinnies !! * We can’t do this anymore, can’t we be just friends ? *
And by being friendly I mean BAGGY DENIMS

Volume is the key, so think a little less mumsy and a little more boyfriend.

I planned my look going with my very own personal style, which is easy silhouettes with sensible shoes.
There are plenty of different ways to wear BOYFRIEND JEANS, It’s always PARIS.  You can dress them down for a street-wear-inspired look or dress them up for a more polished take. Let’s take a tour on these ways to wear boyfriend jeans:

Go easy and comfy with relaxed white top with distressed denim , you could also add sandals .

Go Street Scene Vintage casual by layering your army hue shirt up-do.

Pair your denim with a loose-easy tee , knot it up and turn heads when you walk through the door.

Make a statement dude … Keep things simple by wearing a plain slim tee – add a statement necklace for a touch of glam.

Love it ! this look always nails it. We are scarf people …so travel-friendly nomad

A piece of toast – plaid button down shirt with bf jeans

   Super-summer short stories …. It's always a YES, I DO !! situation with a crop-top

Denim on denim - … aah not so serious … let's go back to 90’s

Boyfriend jeans and white oxfords  … can I wear this all day and everyday ?

                                                            Until next time

Welcome to the streets ...

Spring/summer 2014 was the year when everybody was  looking to Africa for inspiration         and rich color stories were the key for the season. I was fascinated by the new ethnic and it’s strong print and pattern story . It was seen across  the globe and still is.

It was then when I bought this jumpsuit from FOREVER 21 ,but there was no suitable occasion or place to wear  it and it got lost somewhere in my Narnian Wardrobe . Lately I found this piece back and I thought it would be perfect to do some layering and feature it in my street style column because " going out of style is just not our style " .It is an off-shoulder jumpsuit which has got this amazing tribal-ethnic print all over it . I wore it with a double pockets arctic blue shirt and a good pair of wedges on a bright sunny Delhi day. I strutted around the streets ,like a boss in my perfect attire and trust me the feeling was no less than a runway !

Street style, which is considered not to have emerged from the studios but from the grassroots has become a thing. So layer it up, play around and make it your own.

Flower Power...

Gone are the days  when English used to wear floral brocade gowns in silk ,hand-sewn                      with a clinging waist..... we have moved on with those flowers over time but you see                we never left them alone.

This season's most commercial story is the flower story:  "Silhouettes being the keywords."

My heart popped out of my eyes when I saw this striking beautiful blue/white floral pencil skirt.
There is something so versatile about this piece of cloth from AND collection , it can be paired with crop tops , solid soothing colors and for that matter a T-shirt too.

To create powerful looks, pair it with a jacket over the top or a belt. Oh yes !! how could I possibly forget, it is a good pick for a "print on print" action  (Hell yeah, it gave me the inspiration for my next blog ). The vibe is serious fun .I took the advantage of the fun colors and had a blast with this post.

Hope you guys love the pictures  as much as we loved doing this post.
