A DAY AT ISAAC

What is beauty to you ?
Beauty to me is a form of self-expression, feeling good about yourself and radiating positive vibes .But in this busy daily life we cannot take care of our skin and body as we should and we face the consequences . The effects show on our health and shake our confidence .So this is what happened on 2nd april when I visited ISAAC which is located at Chattarpur, New Delhi. To be honest, when I was invited I had a mental picture of the place similar to a hospital but when I reached I was literally shocked to see that the ambience of the place was amazing, they made sure that I felt comfortable at every point . The day was planned in such a way that I had the opportunity to consult two doctors, the first one Dr. Geetika Mittal Gupta, a beauty with brain, a very warm and gentle person at heart. She had one look on my skin and told the history and geography of my skin, followed by a good consultation to change the physics of my face. And let me be clear when I say no surgical changes were performed, just pretty good and healthy practises. I have been practising her medication and suggestions and its really working well for me.So I thought I should share this with you guys.
The treatment I went through was MICRODERMABRASION accompanied with instant glow facial
Benefits :
Instant Glow
Reveal Fresh & Youthful Looking Skin.
Smooths & Exfoliates Dull Facial Surface.
Cleans Clogged Pores.
Decreases fine lines and wrinkles.
Lightens pigmentation.
Skin feels significantly more smooth and tight post-treatment.
Technology and Procedure: Cleansing, Scrub, massage with Aloe Vera Gel & Vit C serum, Microdermabrasion, mask according to skin type. It’s a quick procedure for instant results. Microdermabrasion combines vacuum suction with tiny abrasive crystals to polish away the uppermost layer of skin, eliminating roughness as well as fine lines and wrinkles. It is a quick and virtually pain-free procedure that uses tiny, rough aluminium crystals to vigorously exfoliate the top layer of the skin, removing dead skin cells.International skin and anti-ageing centre ( ISAAC ) also holds expertise in other beauty and body treatments .
Hope this review was helpful to you .

LEAF IT TO ME : TREEWEAR
Lately Sustainable fashion is becoming a thing now. With luxury brands like Armani going fur-free and Stella mccartney's take on sustainable fashion industry, we really hope to save the planet as well stay in the fashion loop. A lot has been going in our county India as well. Brands and designers are working on a sustainable approach to fashion using organic clothing and zero-waste policy.
Meanwhile I came across this brand named TREEWEAR, a responsible approach to clothing. They carefully design contemporary clothing keeping comfort, enjoyment and raising awareness in mind .Not only just they make eco-friendly garments but they make it in eco-friendly way keeping in mind minimum waste strategy and locally sourced materials and low impact AZO-free dyes and yeah at last recycled packaging .
Not only this ,people at Treewear also plant a tree for every product you purchase and you can actually locate the place where a tree has been planted on your name .Isn't that cool and responsible at the same time .
I tried on the Tee-shirt I received and I have to say that it was a very summer-friendly fabric yelling comfort to the max and it kind of looked cool too. My brother is already after my life to get his hands on this one .
All I am saying is it's a good strategy as well as much needed change. You never know
"Sustainable clothing may be the future of fashion "

POST-HOLI SKIN AND HAIR CARE ROUTINE
Hey guys , I hope you had lots and lots of fun playing Holi, but we all know how its ends for us girls (and may be guys too ;-) ) .Even if you prepare yourself mentally to be drenched in colour by family and friends, you can't do the same with your hair and skin. It’s extremely important that you protect yourself from toxic colors. We all know that colors now-a-days are made up of ingredients like acids , glass powder and we can pretty much guess how they will turn out for us.
So I jotted down some skin and hair rituals which i think might help you guys to regain that charm.
So I jotted down some skin and hair rituals which i think might help you guys to regain that charm.
Post-Holi skin and hair care routine
1) Deeply cleanse and condition your hair. Apply a hair mask after 2-3 days to treat the damage done to your hair texture.
2) Do not rub the skin vigorously with soap to get rid of the colours. Use a mild cleanser instead and follow this up with a soothing moisturizer, preferably a type meant for sensitive skin.
3) Do not bleach, shave, wax or go for facials or clean ups the following week.
4) Do not use kerosene, petrol and spirits to remove the stains as that can dry up your skin.
5) Treat your skin with a mixture of sea salt, glycerin, and a few drops of aroma oil. This natural beauty mask has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
6) Oil is good. Dryness makes skin and hair more vulnerable
to toxic colours.
7) Don’t over wash your hair as it can make your hair dry
and unmanageable. Instead you can always opt for a hair
spa which will help you get all the nutrients back into hair.
Another option would be to use curd as it is very moisturizing
and the colours will come out from hair very quickly.

TRAVELLERS AND STYLE
Hey guys , so here I am posting a small blog of my street style work around the city Jaipur. I came here mainly to visit Jaipur literature festival , but there was so much more in the city that I felt the need to capture . So a quick post because I won't be in the internet zone for the next couple of hours. For all I know, I came in like a tourist (well planned) but left like a traveller .

FIFTY SHADES OF "GREIGE"
If you are a part of fashion/beauty industry, you must have
heard the term ‘greige goods’ a lot which means fabric in its raw state. Lately,
the term greige broke the internet, I mean just search the hashtag #greige and
the results will lead you to hundreds of fashion and interior inspirations .Its
all over Pinterest, Instagram and Tumbler. Assuming that you guys have seen the sneak
peak to this post, you must have guessed that it is a hybrid of grey and beige
color.
When I see grey, I think intellect, dignified, wisdom or may be conservative while the other hand beige is all about richness, warmth, muted, subdued something very pleasing to the eye. So when I came across this term greige, the first thought that hit me right through was why did I not think of this. Let me tell you guys, this isn’t any ordinary color. It is quiet but has made a solid presence and seems to be a “It color” of fall fashion.
This subdued color has been a longtime staple in the fashion
scene, as reported by Harper's Bazaar in 1980's Georgio Armani was “dubbed the
king of greige” .
The plus point of greige is that this color flares well with
almost all the skin tone. Also when we are talking about this color, have a look at Bobbi Brown's latest greige collection. It works beautifully on indian skin tones.

KEEPING IT UP WITH 90'S FASHION
It's funny how fashion changes over time. We admit childhood was not our most fashion conscious era, with outfits chosen mostly by our moms. Lets just say we were not the coolest kids on the playground, but now some of the same looks can make you one of the chicest women in the room. Probably one of my favorite looks to make a comeback is Co-ords. This style is a major upgrade from the matching sets of yesteryear, top and skirt combos or matching jackets and skirts are guaranteed to make you stand out from the crowd.
I believe it is one of the most effortless trend as you don't have to think which top to pair up with which bottom .
