THE SATYA PAUL STORY : FOR THE LOVE OF PRINTS

          Where is that one place you can catch the breeze of a beach in a Delhi summer day?

                                                     At a Satya Paul store of course !

Satya Paul's a keeper ! We all know that Satya Paul does the coolest collaboration with designers for like ages.  Over decades the design studio has been synonymous with distinct print innovation           and ground breaking designs.

I personally have been following the brand ever since my college days when Masaba opened the fashion week with her collection for the brand that interpreted the new Satya Paul girl, who is quirky and fun-loving.  With every new season the brand has never failed to provide us that fresh appeal. I mean take any story – lipstick print, telephone booth, inkblot, then the famous mono-pop collection inspired by Disney and now we are seeing a wave of "a tropical wonder" by Gauri Khan.

Well I was lucky enough to have a closer look to all that innovative collection when Satya Paul invited me for their first anniversary party .All thanks to the lovely Kanishka.

STRIPPED MAXI : A HOLIDAY AFFAIR

                          The fact that every-one seems to be in a holiday mood and                                            Facebook being overloaded with check-ins and pictures , I was caught up taking the some people on                           a Delhi tour , which eventually put me into my holiday mood .

      As we sit in this crazy Delhi weather, which goes through more mood-swings than me,  planning the wardrobe was not so tough when you know what you are looking for. Comfort being the key I pulled out a stripped maxi from my closet and styled a knotty affair with a shirt.

     There is a wave of easy breezy pieces this summer , key pieces being Tunics, Maxis, Kaftans, Pyjamas, Kimonos,  capes and pretty much anything you want to pack up for your holiday.

     Coming back to my Maxi-look, nothing says summer comfort  like a super long maxi dress in stripes. It works with your curves and it probably is the best outfit for the days when you  feel bloated.

     And it also makes you look tall and willowy. See? Stripes are not scary.
